Why You Should be in Tech Club

Tech Club meets on Tuesdays from 6-7 pm starting on September 30th.

Here's some of the fun stuff we'll be doing this fall in Tech Club:
  • Learn how to use a digital camera
  • Create an online photo album
  • Edit photos with a computer
  • Create e-cards using your edited photos
  • Create a movie poster
  • Blog about what you’re doing
I know what you're thinking -- sounds like a lot of fun but what will we actually learn. Glad you asked! Participating in Tech Club on a weekly basis means you'll:
  • Build-up computer confidence
  • Develop skills that'll be useful for both homework and in the working world
  • Become very comfortable with a world that is increasingly technical.
Can't wait, right? Well, be sure to sign-up at one of the Student Orientations or by calling Cabrini Connections at 312-492-9614.

Volunteers and alumni are also encouraged to join Tech Club and learn these skills. Furthermore, you don't need to be a regular tutor/mentor to attend Tech club and learn these skills. As we build a team of adults in this group, we think that can help us draw the younter students.

Email tutormentor2@earthlink.net if you'd like more info.
